About 30% of business students attending ABS pursue a Master’s degree after completing their education at the HAN. In the end of the 2011-2012 study year an ABS Master Programmes Fair took place to facilitate these students in making their choices for further training. Not only information was provided; the students could get a first-hand experience about the Universities, the atmosphere, as well as the people there.Representatives of four of the best International Master Programmes in the Netherlands came to the HAN to inform students about possible master options based on their interests and career aspirations. Information about programme contents, application procedures and added value was offered to students at the stand of each university.

ABS Talent Event
zaterdag, juni 9th, 2012ABS Talent Event
The second edition of the ABS Talent Event took place at HAN University of Applied Sciences. The two rounds of the event on 24 and 25 May 2012 featured 15 teams representing all international streams at ABS who presented different projects in front of an international panel of lecturers. In the end the team from International Finance and Control took home the trophy with their “Organizational Diagnostics” project.
The ABS Talent Event takes place for the second consecutive year. Thanks to the relentless efforts of Ingrid Le Coultre and her colleagues at the International Office, 25 professors from 18 partner universities of HAN came to Arnhem to evaluate the talent and professionalism of our business students. The guests not only took part in the event, but also got the chance to strengthen the bond with HAN and to see first-hand what the school has to offer. The four-day programme included tours around Arnhem and Nijmegen as well as numerous networking opportunities.

Meet the beautiful HANdsomes
maandag, juni 4th, 2012At Arnhem Business School we are more than proud to be hosting the HANdsomes – a Theatre Sports team specializing in improvising, entertaining the audience and most importantly having fun while doing it. Students and teachers from ABS take part in this extra curricular activity which is taking place at this moment every Tuesday evening at the FEM building in Arnhem (contact Mr. Joop Vinke for detailed information).
Nevena and Hans visited them one Tuesday to discover what does Theatre Sports (TS) imply and how you can be part of it as well. This type of improvised theatre is very popular in the US and the Netherlands in particular. The HANdsomes not only practice but also host various matches against different TS groups from around the Netherlands and also participate in TS competitions.
