School plays a very important role in people’s life. Doctor’s and engineers, entrepreneurs and nurses, great scientists and presidents were once common students. I believe many people keep the years spent at school in their memory.
I have been studying at Arnhem Business School for more than 1 year now. It was a rather difficult step to leave my home and come here to study..but I did it and never once regretted it! I remember the day when I started studying here. I was impressed to see so many excited and happy new students on the introduction day. I was one of them. I was interested in everything around me and the school seemed strange and unusual to me. I thought this feeling will go away after some weeks..that everything will become ordinary, simple and even boring. However, I was wrong.
Teachers have an unexpected way of teaching, which makes every subject interesting. The biggest surprise was the first project which lasted for a half of year. First, it was very scaring (I thought I won’t be able to handle it), but then I understood that this is all just great! I will always develop, always improve…Every new semester we had new subjects added and every teacher was brining new energy, knowledge and experience. No time and reason to get bored!
What I like the most is that here, we do not study only, but we also take action. We have a lot of practice and group work. We get knowledge not only by visiting lectures and reading the books, but also by working on projects, with groups and doing everything ourselves. We gain experience here. None of the secrets of success will work unless you are hands-on!
To conclude, I would like to say that I have met wonderful people at Arnhem Business School. I believe that our life is what we make it and therefore I am very happy to have the opportunity to study here.
